BARBECUE ACCESSORIES

A good barbecue starts with the right accessories. Besides making sure you have the best food, it's also important to create a fun atmosphere. This all begins with setting up your table.

Here are some essential items to make your barbecue perfect:

Placemats

Placemats are a must-have! They are convenient to use since you just need to lay them down, they protect your table from the heat of the plates, and they keep your table clean. Besides being extremely functional, they also look great. Placemats come in all colors, shapes, and patterns, making them easy to match with your personal taste.

Tablecloth

A tablecloth not only protects your table from stains and spills but can also serve as a decorative eyecatcher. For a summery look, you can choose a tablecloth with a fun color or floral print. You can also opt for a solid color that complements your placemats.

With these accessories, you ensure that your barbecue is not only delicious but also stylish and enjoyable.

Glasses and Cocktail Glasses

Good glasses are truly essential for a successful BBQ. Make sure you have enough drinking glasses for water and soft drinks. In addition to water and soft drinks, it's always nice to offer a good white wine or a refreshing cocktail. So, don't forget to set out wine and cocktail glasses as well. With these, you can serve delicious wines and summery cocktails, such as refreshing mojitos and flavorful margaritas. This way, you make your BBQ completely perfect and ensure that everyone can enjoy their favorite drink.

Carafe

A carafe is perfect for serving water. Add mint and lemon to the water for a fresh taste. Not only does it look beautiful on the table, but it also allows your guests to easily serve themselves. Besides water, you can also serve lemonade or fruit-filled sangria in a carafe. Make sure to have a nice carafe, as it's a wonderful addition for any occasion!

BBQ Accessories

Besides table accessories, there are also BBQ accessories that you definitely shouldn't miss:

- BBQ Tongs and Spatula: To easily turn and serve your meat and vegetables.

- Grill Brush: For cleaning the barbecue after use.

- Thermometer: To measure the correct internal temperature of your meat.

Making Your Own BBQ Sauce

Making Your Own BBQ Sauce

A good BBQ sauce completes your dishes. Here is a simple recipe for homemade BBQ sauce:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a pan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Stir regularly until the sauce thickens.
  4. Let the sauce cool before serving.

Entrecote

A juicy entrecote is always a hit. Marinate the meat with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Grill the entrecote to the desired doneness:

For rare: 1-2 minutes per side

For medium: 2-3 minutes per side

For well-done: 4-5 minutes per side

Turn halfway through and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Rib Eye

Ribeye steak is a favorite for many. Ensure the meat is at room temperature before grilling. Use a simple marinade of olive oil, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper for the best flavor. Then, grill the ribeye to the desired doneness:

For rare: 1 to 2 minutes per side

For medium: 2 to 3 minutes per side

For well-done: 3 to 4 minutes per side

Spareribs

Pre-cooked spareribs are a quick and easy option. First, cook the spareribs in the oven at 140°C for 2 hours. Let them cool down and marinate them again for 24 hours. Then, grill the pre-cooked spareribs for 10-15 minutes on a moderately hot barbecue. Since the ribs are already cooked, this step is mainly about adding that delicious barbecue flavor without burning them.

Baked potatoes

Baked potatoes are a delicious side dish. Wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil and place them directly in the coals or on the grill rack. Serve with sour cream, chives, and grated cheese.

Salad

A fresh salad is an ideal addition to your BBQ. For a light and healthy option, combine mixed greens, garlic shrimp, feta cheese, and apple.
